I work with F-16's and personally the F-15 is definitely easier to maintain as well as load. Im totally shocked that someone can fly with a missing wing, but the rocket theory sounds very plausible.

As for the whole Mig25 - F-15 comparison.... there is no comparison. The Mig-29 is more comparable to the F-15, but the best russian jet ever made so far is the SU-27 Flanker, which can out fly an F-15 anyday.

the SU-27 is ok but the new su47 with forward swept wings is where it is at... it can't go as fast as a f-15 or f-16 but is said to turn much much faster than any other jet out now..
