Busey tought Cruise everything he knows. This guy has been absolutely nuts since his car accident. Hell, him in Lethal Weapon is still one of the best Bad Guys.

interviews are performances and giving an interview on Hunter S. Thompson certainly asks for a special performance. if you look at it this way, Busey does a pretty good job. besides, giving an interview in bat-country with the reporter slowly turning into a Triceratops certainly isn't easy.

If you were to watch this video muted, you might think Gary is rambling nonsense, but if you actually take the time to listen to what he's saying...
