I have been having trouble with the vids lately. I think it is just the encoding from the , but the clips have been pausing wierdly halfway through. I cant seem to get a complete vid. Oddly, I only have this problem with the "review uploads" vids. When they get into the main page, they work fine. I have tried downloading them to get around any server lag, but even the downloaded vids have this problem. Its not WMP because I have used Irfanview and Windows media classic as well. Any ideas?

Other than that the maintenance on this site is great. I have enjoyed watching this site grow and improve. Keep it up! 5/5

Same here BigDazzle, they dont freeze per-se but video lags while the audio keeps going, then it catches up. Sometimes its at a really bad time and ruins the clip.

For the record, CanadianChick is not staff.

We're going to be doing some maintenance on the file server, so hopefully that will solve the problems mentioned here.

The video freeze problem is being investigated. For some reason the media stream gets interrupted from time to time. In testing it looks to be about 1 view in 20 when the server is under high load where this happens. We are crossing our fingers that it is a capacity and bandwidth issue that will get resolved with upgrades.
