340lb (150kg) superheavy weight fight between a Battlebots veteran and a more moden killing machine. The looser was left to wander around the arena trying to find the part that contained the on/off switch.

I dont think its nerdy its like football,boxing or gladiator match just robots I think its pretty cool esp these big heavyweight robots. But the guy at the end in the silver suit..errr guess hes all white and nerdy.

HAHAHAHA... this is NOT nerdy? This is nerdy and lame. So fun to watch a small machine with LIMITED mobility spin a blade at another hunk of metal. While watching this my only comment was "HOLY GEEZE!" like the gay camera doOd said. Then I had another reaction when I seen the dOod in the Skeletor2000 outfit... "HOLY GAYSHITHISUCKS!"

the goal is to get the robot upside-down and helpless like a turtle on its shell. I don't think that would have worked in this case, cuz the winning bot looked like it was designed to work upside down too.

4/5 for the unevenly matched battle.

Projectile weapons are aloud but the projectile must be tethered to the robot by a 2.5m line. Explosive, electric, magmetic, liquid and gas based weapons are not aloud. This is either becuase it is boring to watch or because of saftey concerns.

Wedges do win fights, usually more then spinners win. But a 50kg peice of tool steel spinning at 3000rpm is a bit hard to stop.

The controller of the spinner-type robot did a good job attack his opponent from the sides/rear to weaken it.

Then he went in for the kill.
