To do this home made bomb you need muriatic acid (Hydrochloric acid), this acid is a liquid used to unclog drains, you put the acid in a plastic bottle, put some aluminum foil in the more... bottle, close the bottle tightly, shake a bit, and run!!!

this also works if u drop some foil n then put a ballon on top when the ballon fills up with the gas same shit htey used 2 put in blimps like the hidenburg then put some kinda wick on the ballon n tie it once the fire reaches the ballon it will explode! probaly wud be funny in a building so u can have it float up a couple floors

Gas it makes is explosive. Dry ice is "little safer" way of doing this.

Both are still very unsafe and over all stupid because you can't do it remotely. After seeing the great number of videos on here of people blowing off there fingers why would anyone do it?

Hydrochloric acid has a ph of around one, and is not a good thing to get on your skin. I can only imagine how many idiots are going to try this now and burn the shit out of themselves. If you do make one of these, don't do it in a garage because it will permanantly damage the concrete. It disolves the calcium carbonate in the concrete and stains it yellow.

if your going to be making hydrogen just to blow up a bottle, why not put a lit sparkler next to it??? I used to do this on a large scale to fill garbage bag blimps, then let them float off with a lit fuse, the fireball at 300 odd feet was very pretty.

1) not very safe, especially if someone were to walk by and get hydrochloric acid into their eyes and face, they could be blinded and scarred for life.

2)You can do the same thing with baking soda and citric acid (dry powder from supermarket). Mix the two powders, now all you have to do is add water and it will make lots of gas. Better than using vinegar as all you will need is water to activate it.

The gas is hydrogen, and while it was used to fill the Hindenburg, most every other blimp of the era was filled with helium. The Germans could not get helium at the time so they used hydrogen instead.

There's a lot of fucked up morons out there that will try this. Even a little hydrochloric acid to the eyes can cause serious damage.

No offense, but I'm more than okay with the moral stress that may occur in knowing some jackass actually set out to try this and blew his fingers off. This will make him more visible in public, and make it easier to point out (no pun intended; at least not much) that I will not trust this man with any fiscal or health related commerce.

It's more of a benefit to society to be able to spot dumbasses then it would be to wait until he is under the control of something important before he fucks up. Men with missing fingers will also find it harder to mate, which will add to the strength of the overall gene pool and prevent future miscreants from being birthed into the world.

Just fixing something that was said, dilute generally means anything less than 1M. I was lucky enough to only spill 0.1M HCl on my hands and it burned but nothing serious but you definitely wouldn't want 1M HCl on you. If you're stupid you'd screw this up, which would probably do everyone a favor.

You're ok with people maiming themselves at the expense of other peoples humour? (which is what the title of this site tries to put across)... more to the point... you're also saying that people that give the appearance of being maimed or disabled to the eye... depicts stupidity!

I did not say that I was okay with them maiming themselves for my own personal side effect. That's just a bonus which has nothing to do with the case at hand which as you said was that people missing parts of their bodies depicts stupidity.

I also noted only a specific missing part, which are fingers. I did not mention damaged or missing eyeballs, which are also entirely different and can happen for a multitude of reasonings none of which have to entirely include stupidity.

For a person to lose one's fingers, it is more often than not a job in which one is working with one's fingers, or doing things such as lighting off fireworks. In all of these cases, withholding some small amount of error in machinery and freak accidents, some amount of stupidity was involved. Whether it being not paying attention to where a finger was in relation to a table saw, or whether that huge M-80 will blow up before you can toss it in a mailbox.

The comment was made more toward the young male demographic which is prone to doing such things as blowing off a few fingers. Older people tend not to run around sticking firecrackers in a dog's rectum, so I can occlude 98 percent of them from being relevant. So yes, I am saying that when I see a young male with fingers missing, it usually does bring my mind around to the intelligence level of that particular person.

As far as your last comments:

Really? I would think your worst fears would be far more substantial than that. Something like your grandmother being sodomized by a pack of orangutans dressed up to look like clowns. That would creep the hell out of me. Or Hitler being resurrected from the dead and forcing everyone to mambo until they die of exhaustion. Your fears are small and inconsequential. You've got to think bigger if you ever hope to make something of yourself.
