ye and he was filming the car while driving because? oh and the lighting would have hit either the trees beside him, or the antena on the car istead of the hood.

Yea, think craptastic1 is right there. Lightning always strikes the highest point, not the hood of a car driving next to a bunch of trees, doesn't seem logical to me.

Actually the lightning hits further up the road, the reason it looks like it hit the car is due to all the water on the road, which reflects the lightning and makes it looks like it extends down to the car.

The light comes first you tool. Then the sound. Light travels faster than sound so it'll be the one coming first.

^^ thats an old-wives tale. Lightning can and does hit cars. It just tends to not be a prime target of strikes thats all.

well in normal circumstances, vehicles are not earthed thanks to rubber tyres... things change when the environment is wet. as we know, lightning is capable of arching through air if there is a great enough differences in ionic charge inbetween two areas and if the air is moist, then it also becomes conducting... so i guess it's possible. but i can't be sure whether this is fake or not

I would say that that is lignting hitting the hill in the distance, the slow motion looks accurate, a small bolt rises from the ground before the main strike and the sound could have been the small EMP the lightning generates messing with the microphone.
