I have the urge to try that...

Literally 90%+ of the time I don't even make a mental recognition of ads on the screen. It's natural to ignore them. But those ones that flash.... late at night... your room lights up like a disco fucking strobe.

totally agree with the firefox comment.

i had to use IE coz this site only allowed IE, and as soon as i went on, millions of popups and install prompts came up.

like yer not getting ANY popups with firefox?! i switched as well.. but i can tell you this.. copying in one FF-window, then opening a second window... then trying to paste?! that's a nogo.. or a setting i haven't yet found.. lol

I just hate em both.. once i open em.. i'm gone for hours.. but when i return.. the windows will be closed again ;-)

Hey KillFelix. Mac might be a better platform. But, if it was really that great, they wouldn't be making them XP capable would they?

Browser doesnt matter, just dont download stupid shit and dont click on the "Your the 1,000,000th visitor!!!" signs and dont open emails from people you dont know, keep your virus protection up to date, and scan for spyware regularly, and you should be fine.

The thing is it DOENSN`T happen. I have had abosultely no protection whatsoever on my computer whether it be spyware or anti virus and I haven`t had any problems at all. No spyware, no adware and no viruses. It IS impossible for malicious content to be downloaded on your computer unless the person accepts such a download. Like .exe files or accepting a download or going directly to a pop-up site to download something. People are just foolish and screw themselves over.
