NZ Armless Driver Charges Dropped

New Zealand police have dropped charges of dangerous driving against a man with no arms who was caught speeding.

Colin Smith, 31, was stopped for driving at 121 km/h (75 mph) near the North Island city of Tauranga in March.

Mr Smith, who did not have a licence, was using one foot to steer and the other to operate the pedals.

There is no fucking way that is safe. You can't tell me that a man driving with his foot can turn a wheel as fast as a man with his arms when it comes to avoiding something in a hurry. That is fuckin scary.

Dude, t depends on a persons circumstances as to how good they are with their limbs, a normal person driving with their leg would be scarey but someone with no arms would be used to using their feet.

I saw a story about this kid in asia or india with no arms, and he repairs watches for a living, he does it all with his feet which are almost as dextrous as a normal persons hands.
