I/O Brush

A researcher at the MIT Media Labs developed this device that allows a person to pick up colors and textures from their environment and paint with them on a large digital screen.

pointless ? I dont really thing this invention is pointless, cause I know a lot of designer who took picture, scan it, and try to make something like that. Saving time with this.

Eh that aint all that. You can do that with photoshop and a digital camera (the patter stuff).


But ya....its pretty pointless. Kinda reminds me of the thing on South Park, wehre the dude films dogs from a wide angle camera.
