The only reason I watched eurovision this year was cuz i heard they'd play some metal in it. I never thought theyd win though. Damn hope well see some more metal next year, now when "normal" ppl noticed its existance =)

hahaha you don´t know about music you asshole, metal diferentiates from rock because of the distortionate riffs, while rock doesn´t have distortion. If you know about music you wouldn´t be wasting our time.
Sometimes rock uses distoriton but not as much as metal. It´s very different.

Who gives a toss about the eurovision song contest?, poor ass eastern europeans who have such a depressing meaningless life that they actually class it as entertainment.

All the countries just vote politacly anyway, and for there naighbours, i mean come on countries like Bosnia and Herzegovina get all sorts of votes cos of there neighbours, nobody votes for the UK cos they dont like us.

Although I dont like Finnish people on ferries, because they are always soooo wasted... but... I do acknowledge they produce the best telephones in the world (imo) and HIM comes from Finland which is kinda good ;) I looked at this group kinda sceptic, but hats down to their show ;) Something different from usual Eurovison song :) My favs were Lithuanians, they were funny.

@deus_ex: Maybe you should learn a little something about music before opening your little trap door there little one........
having played guitar for over 14 years I think I would know which types of music have "distortion" or "overdrive" or whatever you want to call it.
MOST rock bands do use distortion in 60-70% of the time. It's only the poxy ballad writing bands which don't use it EVER, which imho, isn't rock.
So there ya go a little lesson for ya, hope you feel somewhat more enlightened, and you'll FUCKIN THINK BEFORE YOU OPEN YOUR TRAP NEXT TIME.
