This show is hillarious. I used to watch it every night it was on, and I tell you that wasn't close to some of the funniest things they've done. You need to be Australian to understand most of them though.

These guys are on a radio show called "Today Today" on an Australian radio station called Triple J (JJJ) Their best stuff comes from another television show, similar to CNNNN, called The Chaser Decides, it's all about the follow up to our elections, hassling politicians etc. People should post that up, however, i assume only Australians would get it.

The Old Testament (where leviticus is) isnt relevant today. Well, I think it would be safe to say that the Archbishop, Dr. Jenson, would have read the "whole" bible, yet, he still had nothing to say... Isn't that a little bit hypocritical? Surely a man with a doctorate in religion should be able to counter some "idiot's" accusations.

Well i guess it's humorous to those who find humor in making fun of religion. Otherwise, i think these text in the bible shouldnt be read literally. People studying literature should understand.

This extract from a poem is a good analogy of how we shouldnt take philosophical or ideological written text as literal forms of conveying meaning. If one were to take the quote literally it would mean having a chariot with wings flying behind the guys back ! That would be perposterous ! However, if one were to dwell deeper into its meaning, hence, ' reading the whole bible' or reading a text in relation to its context then one might find other meanings.

I'm an aethist by the way. Just believe in respecting other's beliefs and understanding text. Even evolution requires text.

I don't think anybody in here gets how the interviewer pwned the priest. The proest was quoting the old testement to frown on homosexuality. However as the interviewer pointed out, we don't kill people for giving lip to their parents and that's written 3 chapters up. Basically there is a scripture that nullifys all the old testement law, and the interviewer was subtly suggesting it to the priest, at which point the priest walked off and reied to change the subject as he was being followed
