im not saying religion is bad Toe Tagger, im saying that people sometimes live there whole life by religion. i forgot which religion this was (i think it was hindu or something) in there religion men have to carry swords with them all the time. now in some schools in my area this was aloud for them to carry swords into school, because of there religion. that when you know religion goes too far.

you also mentioned that God gave us brains. let me ask you this. why do you believe in God? ill tell you why I do, and why many people do. its because it makes them feel secure and better thinking that he is watching over us. now i dont know if there is a God or not, however i believe there is some power or energy out there that controls us.
the truth is, all of us can become Gods if we used 70% of our brain. imagine what we could do.
also think about this, how do we know that the bible is real? how do we know Jesus was infact the son of God? we dont know, and we will probebly never know. im my opnion the story about God and everything in the bible was changed over time. take this for example, when you hear a story from someone, and after a while you forget some stuff from the story, and you tell a different version of the story to your friend, and so on. maby that could have happened.
I just dont think people should really trust religion so much.
I dont know whats real or fake, but we people have to belive in something. even though i have said all of this, i still belive in God. and thats because of what i was taught, that God exists. its really amazing to see what belief can do to you...
