I think this might be more convincing had any of the objects changed direction... although they're moving pretty fast, it could've been a number of things...

You children still believe in UFO's?

I thought that notion faded away as "Close Encounters of the Third Kind" faded from memory over the years.

Any "intelligent" beings in the universe never make it that far, just as we won't for 2 reasons:

1. As our cheap abundant energy source dries up over the next 200 years... we will see that the industrial revolution peaked in this century. If we didn't figure out space travel to other galaxies by now... or soon... we never will.

2. Conflict, greed and uncooperation between countries. It always has been that way in our "civilized" world and it's about to get worse as the above calamity begins to play out.

As you were kids: playing with space and alien toys.

There are thousands of satellites and pieces of debris in various different orbits around the earth.
Anything bigger than an orange is tracked by the military and NASA.

The person who thinks that Tellus is the only planet with life, needs to get their head examined. But the % of change that we may ever get in contact with the other life-forms is like winning in a lottery ten times in a row. Even if wed get a signal from other life-forms, it would have travelled the universe longer than our solar system has exicted and the message senders are dead and their planet gone. But if they would invent a faster-than-light-travelling then maybe we would even see them before human becomes a fossil.

Yes, light can travel faster than light. In sertain gasses it picks up speed and accelerates over the speed of light without getting any extra weight. An actuall "warp" drive would be more of a shortcut between the two targets, like a loop hole :) God I love science fiction

i think it's debris, although assuming that were the only planet with intelligent life is sheer ignorance the only way we would come in contact with some other civilization is if they are FAR more advanced than us and if they are anything like US 1 of 2 things will happen:

they will conquer us and make us their slaves

or they will feel we are too stupid to get their attention and ignore us.

I can't even see anything...One time I took a picture of a lamp and it looked like a ufo, doesn't mean its a ufo...
