I think the project was cool - but there is an even bigger potential if you think small.... as in kids. Yeah - with the right marketing spin and a cool makeover, this thing could be part of a Secret Safe, or a Knocker Announcer or what have you... cool idea.

Really cool!

My idea would be to save time by vocal recognition with an automatic door opener and an auto phone dialer to the police incase you get attacked in the hallway.

Or...

Once your out of the stairwell or elevator or 100 feet from the door the Radio Frenquency(RF) sensor opens the door to save time from knocking.
