Interesting statement in this trailer:

"Put Socrates, Shakespeare, Krishna, Budda etc, etc in a room together and there won`t be any arguments." (quoted loosely)

But on the other hand, get a Catholic, a Protestant, an Evangelical, an Anglican and a Mormon in a room together and you could be sure there`ll be fireworks.

This is why religion is one of our greatest human failures.

If there is God, religion distracts us away from knowing it, and confuses the issue by pretending to know what no one ever really can (oops, actually 42).

I fully support the idea of a personal god, as in whatever it means to you personally. The end. Every time you get a mass marketed proposition as to what is god, what everything means, etc., WHAT YOU HAVE IS A SALES / CON JOB, nothing more. You can count on monkeys being selfish and lazy, always trying to sell shinola for an easy living, always working an angle. OTOH, strictly personal stories are often a good listen when people have some talent to tell them, and they are nothing more than a sincere personal offering / gift.

I hope that is what this movie is about, it would be interesting.

Man, this video did not live up to my expectations. Judging by the description I was expecting to see Wolverine and Ringo Starr in an epic, Godzilla style bout with God.

On the bright side though, I feel like I got to see that whole movie in 2 and a half minutes. I feel no need to go see it now.

i think spirituality is something that should remain on a personal level. once it becomes institutionalized it`s no longer primarily a matter of individual discovery but something more with mob mentality and agendas that can detract from society.

Whether or not this movie is pro-god or not, I think it would make an incredibly interesting movie to watch. Just being able to see other peoples beliefs from everywhere in the world would be amazing. And not the dumb beliefs. There are actually smart people who believe in religion. Those are the people I want to hear from.
