Recipe for a rip off movie: Take the script from Spiderman, replaced super powers with a super car, add a splash of "Chitty Chitty Bang Bang" and a pinch of the cartoon "M.A.S.K."

I was waiting for the line "With great car comes great responsibility" from the father before he was killed.

Not very original IMO, but then Russians are never ones to shy away from copyright infringements

Um...let me get this straight. People are accusing the Russians of copying ideas from movies like Back to the Future which just happens to be a Universal movie also. Also there is an assumption the Russians and not the movie studio known as Universal Pictures, are responsible for developing the movie in a vacuum that does not include studio execs.
