Why`s this voted so low at the moment? It`s hilarious and informative.

That was funny, interesting and well thought out. I s`ppose it didn`t have someone smashing their face into the ground by mistake so it`s not getting many votes.

Living End, it`s because retarded creationists and religious nutjobs flood these videos and vote it down. Same thing happens when conservatives flood health care videos and vote down everything.

Don`t be so hard on him guys, come on! Creationists are DOING science! They may be doing it wrong, but at least they`re trying.

This `making up evidence` argument is so much better than the `I don`t care what you say, you`re just wrong` argument that they`ve always used up until now.

^ lol @ tootles

When was the last time you`ve seen a pro-creationist video make it to the front page?

When was the last time you`ve seen a pro-evolution video NOT make it to the front page?

... Exactly. Atheists waaaayyy outnumber everyone else on this site, and it feels like y`all are trying to shove your beliefs down everyones throat with every other upload.

Just pointing out the obvious. But of course I don`t expect you to admit it.

Care to link me to a Pro-Creationist video that is well presented, well argued, and backed by scientific evidence (ie: not the bible)??

One of the reasons such videos are often voted down is because of the completely unsupported and dismissive statements of science they make. The wonderful thing about science is that it is ALWAYS open to change, provided you have sound testable evidence to support the theory you are positing.

Hell, they`ve recently seen that Einstein`s theory of relativity might be incomplete or wrong. There`s no sort of uproar in the scientific community over this, or calls of heresy. It`s met with the same level of scrutiny all such claims must face, and the tests are being done to prove or disprove it.

Personally, I don`t mind seeing the Pro-Creationist videos voted up. I always enjoy a good laugh, and people who support the idea that the earth is 6000-10000 years old (fact, the first fermented beverages were shown to be from 10000 B.C.), or that people and dinosaurs co-existed, or that the earth DOESN`T ROTATE, absolutely and completely need to be laughed at.

"Ridicule is the only weapon that can be used against unintelligible positions. Ideas must be distinct before reason can act on them" ~Thomas Jefferson

Showtym,

Not sure I`ve ever seen a creationists video in the recent uploads I even could downvote.
However, likely they would be downvoted...unless they were hilarious like the Kirk Cameron and PeanutButter videos, that were voted up.

Also, anyone know what happened to the AronRa videos?

Well the interjected humor made it watchable but I`m honestly disappointed. In all honesty 99% of Christians dunnow what they`re talking about. This video sites discrepancies in one man`s various speeches (and granted there are many seemingly equally credible uneducated people in his "field"), but all the gratuitous humor kinda kills the argument. Yes, lol @ the duck, but what about neglecting to mention dating disparities and fossil record incoherencies associated with evolution? Objectively addressing those concerns is impossible.

And for the record: No, I don`t believe that the earth is only 9 thousand years old, etc. or a lot of other preconceived ideas that Christians have, but the erroneous aspects of evolution are just too much to really concede to.

My family tree stems back to a single-celled organism? Sorry guys. I don`t have enough faith for that (neither did Einstein).

^ Ummmm, this is on Astronomy ... not evolution, so he shouldn`t be commenting at all on fossil dating.

I`m willing to bet my house the "incoherencies" and problems you think exist are based on blatantly false creationists propaganda.

Also...PLEASE show us where Einstein said he didn`t believe in evolution.

Einstein went so far as to argue that belief in such a god was a legacy of humanity`s primitive existence when we created such supernatural beings to explain events around us.

Not sure where you`re getting any of your information, but I can`t even find where you`re getting false information, let alone accurate.

I personally think I prefer the old-school FAITH FAITH FAITH FAITH FAITH FAITH FAITH argument that Christians used. Now they are pretending they have half a clue about things and it makes me tingle uncomfortably.
