He fails so much as our basic system fails. Everyone expects campaign promises to never go answered. However, if you`re entirely realistic about it nobody votes for you EITHER.

Now, I say this because Obama can`t just give out free healthcare. If he could he would have said -done-. However, it has been tied up in the Legislative Branch of our government. Makes sure you know even a little about the system before making snide remarks.

Secondly, so far as Gitmo, they have to make sure they do things right. You don`t just close the doors first day and everything`s fine.

But, as this shows (very recent), things are being done and being done right. This is a sensitive switch, and everyone wants things done NOW.

As far as the bailout, many of those industries are tied to several thousand. Businesses aren`t islands, and just the people there will go under when the business does. There is dependence. What? You think the rippling shockwave would just stop? Don`t be naive. Industry is a network. Sure the guys at the top were being stupid. But that doesn`t mean it won`t have any adverse effects on honest businesses down the line.

So far as the Middle East, that`s something we should actively be disengaging from. I know he wants to put more in Afghanistan, and he said he would, but what`s the point?

It`s a pit, a place many conquerors of the past (and more brutal ones) failed. TO quote Admiral Ackbar: "Its a trap!"

You know, he didn`t know what he was getting into when he was running for pres, it`s not like he was debriefed and told what the US is/has been going through before he was elected. Some of you know what I`m talking about.

I think he`s a good guy with good intentions and I wish him luck because he has the toughest job IN THE WORLD right now.
