I agree with a lot of things Hitchens said (surprisingly the things about mo T.(I call mother teresa MoT, because `mother teresa` was just her nickname(her real name is Agnes Gonxha Bojaxhiu) the most, as most people would if they didn`t know the legend of her, but just things she did to people and what she did[and didn`t do] with the millions of dollars she raised) but I think that the relations that Obama has mended, and the policies that he has changed, wouldn`t have gotten much objection(aside from hard core republicans, who will reject everything that he does) if it weren`t for calling Afghanistan the `right war`, and his continuing of the slow exit of Iraq. Obama has started the only ever hopeful dialogue for world wide nuclear weapons reduction, put a lot of the world at ease(by being so different than Bush), and stopped torture in just 9 months(the nominations were a long time ago, but the vote was recent), but hasn`t pushed for prosecutions of torture and still allows rendition. But those reasons that most people would call his peace prize into question, are supported by Hitchens to a further extreme.

Hitchens calls the Iraq war "A War to be Proud of", and said(despite what psychologist, torture experts, and historians said) that water boarding was not torture, until he had it done on himself. I give him a lot of respect for doing that and admitting his fault, and I appreciate a lot of the works, and debates he`s done. But Christophers stance on the questionable parts of Obamas ideologues are worse than Obamas. And his childish way of not letting his co-guest have the last word, was more suited for fox news than a fact and philosophy driven debate, especially since the other guy had less time to talk than him.

I have a lot of respect for the Hitch, and he made a lot of good points about many things in this segment, but even though I wish that we had elected a progressive/liberal as president, I feel that I have to take Hitchens` criticisms with a grain of salt because he defends/defended most of the practices(while showing no feelings that he may be wrong) that I feel should have precluded Obama from winning the prize.

This is why I stopped watching these fucking news programs. Bring a guest on to share their views and then interrupt them when they try to talk... "If I talk over you and speak louder, that means I automatically win!" It`s a discussion, no one wins. Just give them equal time to speak and don`t interrupt them when you don`t like what they`re saying.

Maybe words count too, but not when they are contradictory to his actions. Also, congress holds nearly all of the power that surrounds the things Obama (and all other presidents) say they were going to change.

Everyone has to give it to Hitchens that when he says he is a "FREE THINKER" he is NOT full of shit. Chris Matthews has always been a cheerleader for (U.S.) Liberals and looks really stupid yelling his weak and almost laughable arguments to justify this award while Hitchens recites historical fact after fact backed by REASON! GO HITCHENS!!!
