We should get rid of the senate, it`s not representative. Baucus represents less than a million people(that means a lot less than 500,000 votes have to be bought to get him elected) and he gets 1 vote. That`s a real spit in the face of the senators (and their constituents) that represent tens of millions of people, that also get 1 vote.

In the house, they base representation by population, Montana only has 1 representative, while California has 53. So is it really a surprise that these small state senators are getting the most money from special interests? Which judge would you sleep with, the one that gets one vote, or fifty? It`s not democratic, and needs to go, just use the House of Representatives, and let every voter be represented equally(maybe not well, but equally).

Holy dog balls... I knew our senate and house had awful lobbyist ties, but not to this degree. These people need to be hung for treason.

I`m ready for the revolution, but when it goes down the rest of the world is going to be thrown into chaos with us.... so you should be ready for the revolution too. The way things are going it shouldn`t be far off.

the people in the US with all the guns are the neo conservatives and Fox news has them wrapped around their finger so tight that they`d drink cyanide if Fox said it was good for them.

Hard to rally such a divided country. All energy is spent arguing between democrats and republicans for elections but once they`re in office they run wild and unchecked.

I don`t think there is so much a problem with the constitution, as there is a problem with lobbying. If lobbyists weren`t allowed to influence politics much more would get accomplished. We gotta ban them from existence.

I try to be optimistic about America, and I hope to read one day that the people of that country will win a crucial battle for their rights and common decency against its corporate oppressors. But it seems it`s going to get a lot worse before it gets any better.
