yeah let`s talk about a complex subject and try to figure it out in 10 minutes...
who regulates the insurance companies? who decides to give or deny health care to patients ? who makes sure there is no abuse from neither the patients or insurance companies?

all health care providers should offer at least a industry standard health care plan that takes care of the vast majority of people`s needs, the industry standard should be regulate by the the government, who would also make sure there is no abusse from the insurance companies when deciding to give or deny health care.
the small percentage of people who can`t afford to pay for the health care plan that includes their low percent, life-threatening, occurring disease would receive subsidies from the government.
the public option should be available to make sure insurance companies are actually competing against each other and not making backstage deals.
people should be able to switch the insurance company at any time and chose any health care provider even across the state lines.
all this would not be terribly profitable to the insurance companies of today but it will serve the patient`s needs witch is exactly what health care is supposed to do.
healthy mind(economy) in healthy body(health-care).
healthy people ---> a healthy and stable economy by there ability to provide the workforce needed to maintain society .
ps: insurance companies should not deny any one with a preexisting condition or any other form of disease because people`s lives can not and should not be calculated as a monetary value or profit!!!!
...isn`t that right Christians?
