You still want to let those cocksuckers keep their multi-million a year paychecks? Cap their fucking wages. Maybe they will quit in disgust and people with souls who need jobs will step in. Exactly what we get when unlimited greed makes the rules.

Eat the rich.

The mansions of CIGNA`s boards members are built on the bones of dead children.

I do believe that insurance companies have the super duper best doctors in the whole United States and of the world. The doctors who people use are no more than quacks. This is true because the insurance companies says so. If people take insurance companies to court the outcome usually changes when the super duper doctors are put on the stand.

not happy with the current health care provider then change them, isn`t that the basis of free market capitalism?
I`m curious what percentage of politicians actually have a degree in political science .
...bunch of whores and lobbyists buy their services to the detriment of the population .
since CIGNA gets to decide if they accept or deny coverage is seems they regulate themselves and such a massive power always leads to abuse.
your greed based society is bound to fail and the majority meaning YOU will get hurt in one way or another.

Private insurance companies would go out of business, if health care insurance/pharmaceutical companies merge with national health care reform. Private for profit companies are making billions on the backs of the wealthy and denying the lower income working class. The average family of four pays $12,000 a year just in premiums, which has gone up 87 percent from 2000-2006. They care more about its shareholders than they do the patients and enrollees. Eighteen fucking thousand people die every year (according to the institute of medicine) because they can`t afford health care.

This system is broken and the private for profit insurance companies are getting incredibly rich based on the problem. If the problem is solved and or goes away then they go out of business. Medical corporate is doing everything in its power to sustain the ways. The idiotic part is the over head for America`s health care system is 3 percent and the over head for the investment owned companies is 26%. National health care is made fun of by fools and armchair economists.

^ We don`t have true free market capitalism. Government regulations do not allow people to shop across state lines for their healthcare coverage, thus choices of providers is extremely limited. That also means that free-market competition is being stifled.

Take note of that, it`s not capitalism causing the problem here, it`s government regulation...of the fascist variety.

Of course, Obama and the Democrats are resisting efforts to allow shopping across state lines for healthcare. How quaint.

Now for an opposing anecdote.

I have incurable cancer and am covered by United Healthcare. To date, I`ve had absolutely no problem with United Healthcare covering any needed services. In fact, get this, they actually called me to offer ADDITIONAL services that would be covered by my insurance!! Yeah, I just about fainted.

If I`d been paying the bills, it would be well over a $500,000. But United has covered 100% of it...minus the copays, of course. I think I can deal with that.

That said, I asked the cancer center about switching to Cigna...they heartily recommended that I stick with United.

First comes the government health care, then come the Harkonnen heart plugs at birth so they can literally pull the plug on you if you don`t meet their coverage qualifications.

^ Now that`s just paranoid...but at least you weren`t screaming. ;)

That said, the defacto rationing of healthcare in Canada is very real. No, it`s not mandated by the government, but is occuring because local healthcare providers do not have the resources to treat everyone in a timely manner. This is most evident when it comes to early diagnoses of critical conditions and is the suspected reason why cancer patients in Canada have a higher mortality rate than they do in the USA. That`s not to say that cancer patients don`t receive appropriate and timely care after their diagnosis.

Death panels and heart plugs are not on the table for American healthcare reform, but many folks are rightly concerned about socialized medicine creating shortages and delays that could cost lives.

If you have any care about whats going on with CIGNA and their ways, then take a look at this video.
http://www.pbs.org/moyers/journal/07102009/watch2.html

Cliffs-

-Wendell Potter worked for CIGNA for 15 years, got promoted to the top etc..
-Went back to his home state and was shocked at what hes seen and questioned "how could this be america?"
-Realized what was going on, and felt that he didnt want to be a part of it.
-Decided to come out and be against CIGNA and how they are treating things.
and the rest you can watch if you have the time, its pretty interesting its slightly long though about 36 minutes, but its chock full of information..
