The top of the pole as a plastic flat bottom to large in diameter for him to grab onto any edge. He`ll just fall, jeez the squirrel can see better then you too apperently.

this was all the rage in the early 90`s, the courses just got longer and longer. eventually the squirrels formed a union and demanded more nuts at the end of the course. Everyone remembers the tragedy of the nutkins martyrs, hop on little squirrel, hhop on.
