3 Buildings fell down on September 11, 2...

I did not know that a 47 story building that was NOT hit by a plane on 9/11 fell down into its own footprint until about 6 months ago. I used to laugh at the conspiracy nuts until I learned about Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth. Here Richard Gage (20+ year experienced engineer) discusses the facts regarding Building 7. I worked in and around the WTC complex for 12 years before the attacks.

When is this horse shit going to stop about "controlled demolitions"?

Does everyone realize that besides being an office building, 7 WTC also was home to a Con Edison substation?

In the event of a power failure, the substation would be able to produce electricity from generators supplied by diesel fuel. Hence, the building contained tanks (24,000 gallons) of diesel fuel.

When 1 WTC collapsed, 7 WTC, along with 140 West Street (Verizon), were pierced internally by falling steel beams, thus damaging the infrastructure of the substation and providing enough fuel to sustain the fire that ultimately weakened the building to the point of collapse.

140 West Street was saved due to the fact that it was "overbuilt". Original telephone equipment was constructed with cast iron and occupied virtually the entire lower section of the building (~13 floors).

^ and these generators were perfectly placed so that the if they were comprimised the building would do a free fall? Stop sucking off Uncle Sam and use your head. If you start thinking for yourself and stop ass raping the American dream then maybe you could get beyond a vegtitative state. I love America but do I trust it? Hell no.

@splicing - If that is true, it still doesn`t account for anything. Fire from diesel fuel does not melt steel and why the hell would an architect design a building that wouldn`t withstand the possibility of that kind of fire.
I have no intention to speculate about who did it and why - all I`m saying is that there are way too many coincidences for this not to raise questions.

Instead of insults, praise jebus, try absorbing some logic.

- The structure of the building was compromised by falling debris

- A fire burned, unabated, for about 7 hours INSIDE of the building

-Substantial fuel sources were available to explain the "explosions" heard

- Demolition of a skyscraper with explosives takes far more than 7 hours to prepare (in some cases months).

- There are ZERO reports from any of the 50,000+ people who worked in the WTC complex on a daily basis of any suspicious activity (explosive delivery and placement) before 9/11/01.

- FDNY was aware of the possibility of disaster:

"Fire Department officials warned the city and the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey in 1998 and 1999 that a giant diesel fuel tank for the mayor`s $13 million command bunker in 7 World Trade Center, a 47-story high-rise that burned and collapsed on Sept. 11, posed a hazard and was not consistent with city fire codes. The 6,000-gallon tank was positioned about 15 feet above the ground floor and near several lobby elevators and was meant to fuel generators that would supply electricity to the 23rd-floor bunker in the event of a power failure. Although the city made some design changes to address the concerns - moving a fuel pipe that would have run from the tank up an elevator shaft, for example - it left the tank in place. But the Fire Department repeatedly warned that a tank in that position could spread fumes throughout the building if it leaked, or, if it caught fire, could produce what one Fire Department memorandum called "disaster."

Now facts.....skycrapers have burned for over a day and never fallen down.....yet #7 burns for a few hours and it does a perfect free fall? Lets just say that the fire did cause the collapse. would it be a collapse into its own footprint? What are the chances?

There was actually more than one fuel tank in the building. The tank referred to in the FDNY report was there to serve a generator for the so called "bunker" - NYC`s command center in the event of a disaster. Con Edison`s generators were fed from separate tank(s).

Why the building fell in a similar manner to one that is purposefully demolished - I do not know.
In the same context, why did the building in Turkey roll over instead of collapsing?

47 story building to the ground in 7 seconds at freefall speeds... it wasn`t hit by a plane and instead it fell down neatly into its own footprint... yes this is clearly the work of burning debree and diesel fuel *sarcasm*. In fact why don`t all demolition experts just take down building this way!? I mean look at how well it worked on 3 buildings!

Just look at who stands to gain from all this. Use your skepticism and if you`re all so confident what would hurt in having a new and proper investigation?

What about the evidence of ignited Thermite found?

Believe me I`ve laughed and argued against 9/11 truthers for years but it wasn`t until I learned about Richard Gage and his architects and engineers for 9/11 truth organization. They`re not saying who did what but what they ARE saying is that the facts in the official report don`t add up. They are objective and a new investigation is the proper and just thing to do.
