Man this is some stupid shit. There are 36 ufo`s that are 1 mile in dia. but no one has seen them with a telescope or has a clear pic of one of these things just some grainy old peice of shit video... well i`m convinced.

DS you my friend are an idiot. MANY PEOPLE HAVE SEEN THEM WITH TELESCOPES AND AND VIDEO CAMERAS ON EARTH. If your so convinced then look up these videos. Youtube "nasa ufo (footage)", on this website also look up "hubble telescope deep field" <-- that will get your imagination going. Further more do your fucking research, there are many more things that are not known to you simply because it is not mainstream, SEARCH IT, INVESTIGATE IT. We aren`t talking about SASQUATCH, BIGFOOT, or the NEW JERSEY DEVIL. this is an occurrence that is FAR from being ABNORMAL. Something that has been documented since the earliest times of humanity. What it eventually boils to is that they aren`t in our everyday lives because we are simply still very primative to them and to hostile. The day and age that we live in is far from being "civilized", history should teach you that. Oh and why don`t you tune into the history channel here and there and watch all the UFO documentaries they have. yeah i just rewatched, not infra-red, ultra-violet, and yeah i guess not many ppl at all have UV telescopes and cameras so that explains why they haven`t been seen before.

Take thy beard of wishing and shave it with Occam. Even if they ARE aliens, you still have to explain why they`re here, moreover why they`re up there and not down here. If there are thousands of tons of alien matter in the sky, why have we never found so much as a sliver of it down here? Are they trying to hide themselves or not?

You look at natural phenomena and assume the existence of a creator. Does that sound familiar?

Maybe the "tether" is on the window, and the other stuff is dust floating inside the housing of the camera, and\or space debris outside... plus lighting.

The guys says it`s twelve miles long many times, and they even put it up in text, but what`s the basis for it?

If there`s one thing I learned in my college courses is that the human brain often uses points of reference. We perceive things by comparing and judging. One thing we humans are extraordinarily poor at is judging distances of things in the sky.

Why? There`s no point of reference. How does one come to the conclusion it`s twelve miles long? Furthermore, who the fuck is the old guy talking? What are his credentials?

Think of all the stupid things humans have believed and made up throughout history (lightning = god, droughts = god, northern lights = aliens/god) which were later explained with SCIENCE. Simple explanation.

When things that are close to a camera lens become out of focus, they blur and can appear transparent. Those particles were close to the camera, and because they were slightly transparent, so they appear to be behind the tether.

I don`t know about that dematerialization and rematerialization, though.

The one thing I always wondered about this video is who is going to play tether ball in outer space?

@Red Heaven...maybe because NASA knows how long it made its tether before hand? I mean, they built it and all. I think they would know how long it is :)

That`s why it`s a point of reference.

That being said, if you watch the camera zoom out a bit, the "aliens" spread out much more. If they were behind the tether, they wouldn`t move as much...like if you had backed up from a bunch of dangling lights that were next to you, they`d move faster than something way off in the distance...
