I for one cannot see how opening some classified files, and laying this thing to rest, for the sake of the families who cannot rest, would do any real harm. Presuming the government has the ability to lay it to rest by backing up the current version of truth, that is. If not, then they have lied, and we need to know about it. That they leave so much lingering doubt unanswered in the face of so much honest pain, does not speak well, nor does it bode well.

What cost for a few seconds of video that ACTUALLY clearly shows the Pentagon being hit by a passenger jet?

What cost to send some samples of steel, dust, and debris to a few independent universities around the world and pay the small lab fees for deeper analysis?

The real cost of not doing these things is the continued anguish of honestly searching victims, who must stand blameless for their doubt, in a world where trust is so nearly dead.

Lay it to rest or stand aside.

What kind of asshole dares to claim he represents the family of the victims? There`s only one `conspiracy` to look into here, and it`s how the Bush administration pigeon-holed Richard Clark when he knew al-qaida intended to attack, and had a plan to do something about it. He was pushed aside from his originally intended meeting in January all the way to September 9th. Why don`t we go after the reality of the matter instead of crazed paranoid accusations that seem to surround every significant moment in history.

^^We all know and talk about this stuff all the time, but networks pump out the "hey, look at these conspiracy theories" stuff so that anyone who talks about it is immediately labeled as a "conspiracy theorist". On top of that, you`ve got the bleeding-heart liberals who bitch and cry when you say anything that they find to be "disrespectful". So, the people who know keep quiet. These are all important questions that the government needs to answer about the events of that day.

It does however creep into the territory of Glenn Beck kind of logic when we start to assume that no answer to the allegation that our own government was behind 9-11 is confirmation that it`s true.

Why did the world trade center 7 go down and why is it the only building of its size to ever collapse to fire. Before 9/11 no other skyscraper fires had ever cause a structure to collapse. Why no marks on the pentagon lawn where the plane skidded into the building. I do think that yes AL quada did fly planes into the world trade centers but world trade center 7 and the pentagon no. There are way to many questions to ask and why the hell don`t we get some answers already.

I`m pretty sure if Bush`s crew were responsible, President Obama, Harry Reid, and Nancy Pelosi would have been all over the press with a statement about how they needed to be prosecuted and brought to justice. Since there has been no such outcry (because they are not shy about pointing fingers at the last administration), I would tend to believe that it happened more like the investigations point towards. Unless someone comes forward with real proof, then I just can`t buy into the conspiracies.

Keep in mind, that doesn`t mean that I believe everything as reported. I just think that it would be so devastating to the Republican base that the Democrats would have been all over it by now.

And really? Charlie Sheen? Actors who think that their fame gives them political prestige need a swift kick in their parts. Go act, you fucktard.

Perhaps the big question is not where are all the answers but perhaps the big question is why the US government refused to (publically) investigate the matter.

So what then are the POSSIBLE reasons for not having a (public) investigation?

1. Dick Cheney said this would interfere with other
criminal investigations. But if true how so?

2. Would expose the US Government`s lack of efforts
of security for the people? They already are being
blamed by many so what more could be worse? And hiding
matters will not help. I wonder how the political
sides voted(or willed) for this in both the Senate
and the House of Representatives? Get a list of
names.

3. Save Money on the investigation and at the same
time make people angry so certain key countries
can go to war with the US?

Anyone else have a reason #4 as a possibility?
