To whoever made the video, "Using Proper English".

`Noun` is not pronounced "Now-n" nor is there any English word where a syllable contains only consonants with the exception of the amenable letter `y`.

Capital letters are reserved for starting proper nouns, acronyms, the names of days, months, and significant periods of history, abbreviations, titles of people or publications, and of course the start of sentences. Words making up the first half of a sentence cannot all unjustly start with a capital letter, leaving the rest of the words in the sentence to remain exclusively lower-case.

While talking about sentences, the word `sentence` is not spelled "centence". The word `dissatisfaction` is not spelled "disatisfaction". And ironically `incompetence` is not spelled "incompitance".

Lastly, `enquiry` is the appropriate spelling, not "inquiry", especially for an audio clip from the British.

"Using proper English"... hah!

And yeah, this video is old.

I was always under the impression that the word was an acronym that derived from medieval times.

What I was told......During those days they had problems with population over-run. People were restricted from having children without permission. In order to have a child, a couple would have to get consent from the king to fornicate. Hence, Fornication Under Consent of the King.

Just what I was told when I was younger. I`m sure there are all kinds of theories out there.
