THe notion that private industry gives you more options is the biggest crock of shit portrayed by the free market supporters. Lamer still is the notion that these supposed market options are your freedom within the system and they must be protected.

It`s so sad. I truly feel for the US citizens who are so blindly following flawed teachings of a failed system, even when it spites themselves.

Well capitalism and democracy are both genius ideas that get fucked up by greedy pricks.

I wish I knew how to stop people from messing up a good thing but I can`t other than trying to do what I can to stay informed and reason with others to do the same. The only reason the greedy pricks get away with it is because a large majority of us don`t understand how these systems are supposed to work in our favor and aren`t aware of the responsibilities we have as citizens/customers in order to protect ourselves.

A lot of people on spiked seem to understand that but apparently that`s not enough.
