Why are these people are so obsessed with homosexuals? of all the issues in the bible it seems this is the only one they care about. think the pastor is in the closet much?

this has nothing to do with the bible, it has to do with the fact that if you look around, you would see life keeps going only when you have 1 female and 1 male. so the fact is their not doing anything that keeps our society going!

You`re right, gays don`t work or adopt unwanted kids or contribute to society in any way.....

I can agree with people when they say homosexuality is a defect, it clearly is since homosexual animals can`t even reproduce their own genes. That doesn`t mean that their life has no value. A lot of us have major defects, whether they be reproductive, sensory or purely aesthetic. Those people aren`t suddenly less valuable, and they definately shouldn`t be treated as such. There are plenty of people who are almost idealistic genetically who contribute absolutely nothing, a person`s worth should be derived from what they do with what they are given.

And to say that the bible has nothing to do with this is bullshit. It`s being used to reinforce bigotry and xenophobia, both of which are plentiful in the bible. The reason that gays are targeted is because they are one of the last minorities to be socially accepted/protected.

Wait you actually think they should have the right to adopt kids? Look I know those kids would love a loving home, but how would you like to have 2 dads and getting beat up at school every day for that? It just doesn`t work that way, look the point is that non of us would be here right now if our society was run by homosexuals. I don`t care what they do with their lives, just as long they stay away from the kids.

^ How is two dads any worse than having ugly or disabled parents, or even abusive negligent types? Kids with straight parents get made fun of all the time.

If society was run by homosexuals? If all the "leaders" in society were gay, we wouldn`t disappear. Homosexuality is only harmful to a species` reproduction, and since it isn`t contagious, I don`t think we have anything to worry about.

Of course kids get made fun of all the time, but there`s a difference between being made fun of having an ugly parent then being made fun of having 2 dads. And even if the parents are abusive or what not the point is that the kid still learns that in order to reproduce he needs a female. And ye we have nothing to worry about, except for the fact that they try to adopt kids. I guess you would love to have 2 dads now wouldn`t you?

Yeah I would love 2 dads, just to think how much it would creep you out :). I just don`t think that a kid having gay parents would suddenly become gay or forget how to be straight. Also kids are made fun of constantly, if your whole parenting system is built around avoiding your kid being made fun of, its never going to work. Kids will find anything they can to ridicule.
