Banning religion is stupid. It will have the same effect as banning alcohol or marijuana: it will make people desire it more!
The answer to this problem is not that simple, there is no immediate solution!
Want to have less religious nutcases? Send your children to school, teach them the way of logic, reason and science. Teach them they are free to believe in whatever god they desire as long as their belief does not influence their reason.
Teach them to think for themselves!!!

^ i disagree with not banning and this is why. So many people are stupid as fuck and basically need to be told what to do. The problem is they are usually consumed by religion because it`s a thoughtless placeholder that you don`t actually have to think, but shut your mind off to reality to accept the teachings.(most people don`t like thinking and are afraid when they don`t have the "definate" answer to life) Now my guess on why sheeple do stupid things is the government okays religion and even gives incentives such as tax free land and how about some currency that endorses your buisiness venture. This gives the idea religion is safe just like it gives so many people the idea alcohol is safe. The only difference is religion doesn`t come with a warning label, and i guess that`s where people like me fit in.

Personally i feel bad for you if you are a believer...must be such a closed confusing world trying to please an invisible god for most likely the only reason of going to heaven. I find an honest loop in that system as it`s selfish beyond belief. As for me, i`m just living my life because once i`m dead i`m dead...and if i got it wrong, my humanist efforts completely outweigh any type of collection plate donation or prayer.

I take it you agree with the statement "it is logical and scholar to believe in imaginary undocumented people and miracles they preformed." and perhaps this statement. "religion is about freedom of thought and has nothing to do with making money" or maybe "god has answered my prayers". perhaps I can go get healed at one of your religious sermons where some guy touches my head and despite medical belief i will be fixed.

My point is, don`t get like a little kid and start calling people doggy doggy when someone says something is stupid when it obviously is. I really feel i`ve made a difference in his life however he might have killed himself over the obvious scam religion is and how easy it is to point out. Even those guys in government stealing all your shit are laughing their fucking asses off at how they can get the masses to believe anything...they even told us they are.
