For people who don`t know cricket. A way to get someone out is to hit the "Stumps" with the ball when the ball is being bowled to someone. The Stumps have wood pegs laying on top of the three stumps. The point is to knock them off to get the Batter out.

The reason he is out is because, if he knocks them off himself, he is out. Seeing how the helmet is his equipment when it falls off, it got him out.
