poor prisoners... they only murdered, raped and robbed to get there.... so we should treat em nice like we do in the west, tv, cable tv, and private cells...

You know not everyone is in there for life. After a year or even six months of constant beatings. You have effectively turned a common thief into a one man murder machine.

Prisons keep people out of society, they`re not torture camps.

Yeah, that will solve all crime problems. We all know that having prisons like this means that any prisoners who aren`t serving life will leave prison better people, and not be turned into deranged psychopathes who reoffend.

Of course there`s all the innocent people who get wrongly sent to prison to consider. But I guess they can just go fuck themselves, right?

story lady don`t be a dumb bitch not everyone goes to jail for rape and murder, some people go to jail for mistakes made by investigators, some go because of little shit like running strip clubs in their basements. Does anyone here honestly think that the solution to crime is so simple that it`s been staring everybody in the f*cking face for centuries? Do you seriously think that if only we could torture someone in just the right way that person would come out of prison a reformed human being? Don`t be f*cking primitive. We`ve tried hanging, beheading, castration, crucifixion, solitary confinement, beating, forced labour, brainwashing and many more ingenious methods of cruelty and NONE of them has saved society from crime. Get it into your head, it does not work and it will never work. It doesn`t matter what outlandish punishments you dream up it will continue to happen until we understand why it happens. If you wait for the crime to occur and then prosecute someone and then wait for another one and prosecute someone else you are playing a never-ending game of Wack-A-Mole. The criminal justice system has nothing to do with preventing crime. If our governments just attempted to trace the route causes of crime and actually do something to prevent them from happening in the first place then there would be no need for any of this stupidity. But judging by some of the responses on here a lot of you aren`t interested in doing that, you just want lots of long, painful and cruel vengence.

lets send them to our over crowded prison nurseries where they will be safe and have the best luxuries.
i think people become repeat offenders because life in prison is easier than life on the outside.
but if you make life in prison harder then life on the outside, im sure even the stupidest criminals would understand how bad it is to go to prison again.
