^^^ Wasteful? That`s about a nickle`s worth of tape.

Better than having some lawyer get him off because they officer didn`t use a properly constructed and police-approved walking line, as opposed to a painted parking line. (Which is designed for parking, being slightly raised, which might cause his client to become unfairly unbalanced during the testing procedure.)
