the only problem with his style is that you have to use a weird tuning in order to tap like that and its a huge pain to change it like that, also i have no idea what tuning he uses.

Erik Mongrain also has an established Guitar Tapping Style. i suggest you look him up.

I`ve actually had the honor of taking lessons from Andy when he was just beginning. I`ve never had the discipline to practice and become what he has become. but I can tell you that he is one of the most laid back and easy going individuals you will ever meet. Really cool guy. And Hairylikeanimal he is using DADGAD tuning.
