That can be said for EVERY campaign. and its not that he has now come to to some realization all of a sudden. every president does this. campaigns are always filled with empty promises but people STILL KEEP ELECTING FROM THE SAME TWO PARTY`S! you, my friend, are part of the problem.

So if we capture an Al-Qaida sniper picking off Americans in Afganastan.... Would she:
1.. Have us let them go?
2.) Put them on trial in a civilian court in defiance of the Geneva convention?
3.) Shoot them?

What Obama is proposing here is a far cry from the "anyone we suspect" model that Bush advanced and that Madlow is pretending Obama said here.

Where does she get the notion that the USA`s guarantee of Constitutional liberties applies to enemy combatants during wartime? I got some news for her......
