Well this sounds pretty awesome. I`ll ask my mum a few questions and see what she knows about it because she`s a cancer nurse.

Well nobody cares cause nobody took this serious. Why? Because they advertised it as the no-hair-loss-cure rather than the cancer-cure.

I like how they are getting public funding, NOT FROM DRUG COMPANIES, so that the drug can be available cheaply to the public.

This sounds amazing, especially as noted that it will be from public funds and therefore cheap.

This will never be approved by the FDA or The American Cancer Society, it will be labeled as fraud and quackery. With billions of dollars spent each year on research, with other billions taken in on the sale of cancer-related drugs, and with fund-raising at an all-time high, there are now more people making a living from cancer than dying from it. If the solution should be found in a simple cheap drug, this gigantic industry could be wiped out over night. The result is that the politics of cancer therapy is more complicated than the science.

What is a cancerous tumor?
Its curing it like curing gangrene is amputating?

There`s no money in a cure.

This drug may stand a chance if they can make it in pill form, add some side effects that can be treated with other medication and dilute it so that you have to take it every day to live.

I have heard sayings about covering up cures...and if that is true, then thats just another reason to the list of why I hate people.

The problem with this cure is that it uses a drug already invented. Because of that this is no profit to invest into it (and going through drug trials is expensive).

This is too good to be true. First of all this really isn`t a cure for every cancer. There is a slim to no chance of there ever being a cure all for every cancer considering the nature of the problem being that cancers have a multitude of causes within a cell and there can be numerous combinations of problems which lead to cancer.

In this case the drug is reported to affect cancer cells which have problems with the mitochondria, this is only in a few cancer types, it may cure those types, but it is far from a cure all.

I heard about this back in the beginning of march, why does it seem that people don`t care? Because media/out news outlets don`t read the fine lines, as I explained above not a cureall, just a fraction of possible cancers, and it is in its infantile stages of testing. Until it gets any actual results it is just a theory like many others out there.
