I did this with a friend when I lived in Japan. It is funny because more people are paying attention to you because you are a foreigner, so they are more cautious about what you might be doing.

We actually blocked foot traffic across a footbridge overpass because everyone was afraid to trip the "wire" we strung.

Another good one is to take fishing line and tie it high enough so it won`t hit the car, but low enough to just clip the antenna and tear it off the car.

Most people don`t even know what happened.
