Pink Floyd`s swann song, last track on their last and final album.

If I`m not mistaken the guy playing the piano and the oboe at the end is filmcomposer Michael Kamen (also of Metallica`s S&M fame)

Who the hell are these guys, boy? Why don`t you listen to good music like Linkin Park or 50 Cent instead of these unknown hella old singers, homie? You better get with the times and forget this old shit before you become a nerd, dawg. Don`t be lame like mah parents, yo, yo, yo... get with the times, yo... capitalism!

I believe that`s how hipsters talk, yes?

Pink Floyd minus Roger Waters equals NOT Pink Floyd. They kept the laboured faux melancholy but not the political conscience, leaving behind a vapid bunch of techies and knob twiddlers to overproduce a couple of dinosaur market unit shifters. The Gilmour era is not to be considered as relevant in the history of the Floyd. It was an undignified and unwelcome end to a once genuinely original and incomparably moving band.

I really like this concert. Probably the closest thing to a Pink Floyd unplugged concert there will ever be. You should also check out Shine On You Crazy Diamond for this concert.

Your just a purist mate, Waters almost destroyed the group entirely with his selfish belief that he was MR PINK FLOYD. Although some of their earlier stuff was pure class..it was gilmour that brought them kicking and screaming through the 80s and 90s and made them one of the biggest bands in history. Yes they kind of did become an ensamble band with "guest members" so to speak, but Gilmour, Wright and Mason gave us some of the best Pink Floyd songs without Waters.. who has lived on his early success ever since.(lets face it..everything else he has done is nowhere near as comparable to PFs stuff).

Take a step back maybe..without Syd barret..are they still Pink Floyd? The answer is yes..same with the Waters situation.

I rant on a bit..But when they did the Live8 gig, it was a bit special..all Floyd fans have a place in their heart for Waters, I think we will all agree that he did make PF what it was originally. But, it evolved just as well without him.

Now sadly Pink Floyd has died forever, RIP Rick..we wont forget you. Shine on with Syd.

The Division Bell is a great album. Yes, it does differ greatly from their early stuff and I did like them better with Waters. But, like all bands that are around for a while they do have to evolve. I remember when I first heard this album and said "What the hell. This isn`t PF." But after giving it a couple more listens it really grew on me and I still listen to it to this day. Pink Floyd will always be the greatest band of all time.
