I'm seconding japanther. This was neither funny nor complicated. I find it funny that the worse British humor is, the more people claim it is too complex to be understand by us dull non-Brits.

I'll give you a hint--when the benny hill theme song can increase the quality of something by ten-fold, its not complex.

That was great :D Very funny stuff. For those of you who dont understand it or don't find it funny... to each his own. Everybody has a slightly different style of humour. And humour is to an extent, cultural. This is a simular style of humour as the colbaer' repor'. Good stuff, thanks for the uplaod.

even though English is my native language, i find that watching British tv shows (especially comedy) really frustrating and annoying. Sometimes it is ok, but it just doesnt have the same effect. Strange. I am sure if you are British you feel the same way about American tv shows.

I love Bird and Fortune I have all their audio tapes. If you love reading Private Eye (UK Polictal satire magazine). They are so subtle on the points they make, real bite without any anger and swearing.

The sketch about Bob Horton, the guy who fucked up our railway infrastructure is the best. He lost 2bn pounds in profits from BP then amazingly the govrnment, knowing he had shit for brains, hired him to run the UK railways system, he managed to lose 300m profits in the first 6 months!

i usually preferre the UK version of thing's.. eg
loved "Absolutly Fabulous" , "the Office" and "Couplings"
in there british verisions...

but the US versions were lacking somthing i can never put my finger on...

but being aussie our humour is adapted from the brits so it's no real wonder it go's down well here...

the only person who can top these guys for political satire is Chris Morris and he is as subtle as a sledgehammer.
If u can find their "interview" on british military equipment failures in Iraq, man that's good.
