^^ true and i feel the same way, but what they showed was a commercial and no game play. seems too far in the future and the driving and shooting games jut wont feel the same without something in the hand. i now feel sorry for the wii with the ps eye and this being shown.

They did show gameplay. They showed a painting game and a 3D breakout-type game called Ricochet. It seemed to work pretty well and it`s far from being released so it`s only going to get better.

well, i saw the skating game, pretty cool... but i can kiss the high score goodbye, cuz i cannot do a 900 in real life. if i played that game i`d just pick up the imaginary board abd beat the imaginary people with it.

pretty cool if GTA supported this in a future game tho.

I was just wondering - does anyone actually ever play games on the Wii by themselves? I get the impression that it`s a lot like sex - more fun when other people are involved. And also somewhat shameful by yourself.

Seems pretty futuristic, which I`m all for, but I think a lot of players just want to sit on a couch and press buttons. That skating game looked taxing, doing crazy monkey jumps constantly would eventually cause an injury I`m sure.

I`m pretty impressed by this and the applications are limitless.

At E3 it came with a disclaimer saying "not representative of actual gameplay", and "actual gameplay may differ greatly to that seen on this display".

In other words - it ain`t as good as it`s made out to be. If Microsoft were confident this was a winner then this would have been a live display, not a pre-recorded advertisment.
