This is about capitalism, and the inevitable outcome is technological unemployment due to automation of the work force. First step is to move the labour force to a cheaper work force to save money. then they use the money to build machines to put those cheaper wages out of business. All the while still flooding the first nation with goods they can not afford while fooling them into thinking they need this stuff.

When profit is the bottom line, human needs become moot. This is why capitalism and a corporatocracy regime will always result in the loss of wages for the lower class and a large division between the rich and the poor.

Well, people should blame the CEOs of GM, getting themselves artificially large and yet fail to innovate to make cars people want. Even when the US governement step in, they will look at the whole thing globally now, not just USA.

Automation is inevitable, if you want that innovation. Innovation can solve the job losses that automation brings.

But who`s going to make a company innovate? when all the board members can get filthy rich by de-generating with a good marketing plan.

The american people have a controlling share, but will they have any part in electing a CEO? or will the job go to Mr. E with a big wad of bailout money and the promise of a massive pension no-matter what happens?
