what if god is a "alien?" what if we were created by a alien race? What if you treat the bible as the word of a higher vastly more intelligent Organism?

If you disagree or vote me down, then that means you want there to be only one option, No god, no god alien, ONLY aliens, this would mean you are biased, and your mind is as closed as those you crucify.

^napalm4sd - Your ultimatum is idiotic since the Bible along with most of the other religious scriptures are full of so many scientifically proven inconsistencies and fallacies that they couldn`t possibly have been written by a higher intellect. I`m still willing to entertain the thought that God and Alien go hand in hand so long as you leave the Bible out of the equation.

Our one planet (Earth) is so perfectly suited to life that it must prove that God exists right? SO then do all the other billions of planets that are not suited to life prove that God doesn`t exist? I dunno but it`s something to ask one of your religious friends. As for aliens, I guess we`ll see.

never did I once tell anyone to take the bible literaly, I simply gave a hypothetical scenario. And all of you shit all over it, I am not one to tell anyone what is and is not most likely to have caused our existance, because this will be argued by philosophers for some time to come it would be pointless. I simply gave a possibility, I meant it in my explanation, to leave the bible out of the equation, as well as all other religions, Im just "throwing it out there," if you will. I, as well as most other skeptical people, do not know how we came about, or how our existance is relevant, and I think it foolish to rule out any possiblitites.

I love the fact that it took god something like 4 days to create Earth (just the planet itself) but created the trillions and billions of stars and planets and asteroids and moons and stellar nebula in just a single day.

Do I believe that there are other life forms out there, more intelligent than our own; Yes. Do I believe they have visited this, what could be in the grand scheme of things a, shit-hole planet: No.

Also, Once a believer claims the bible is open to interpretation in a non-literal and literal sense, they must accept that it is as much proof for "his" existance as it is for his nonexistence.

well its seems more possible to me than there actually being a "god", but regardless of how we got here the bible was wrote by men with agenda`s thats why its been changed and changed again, the people in power have simply edited it through time to suit their needs!

again commons sense should tell you its just about control, when the bible was written there was no need to follow kings or emperors because everybody lived of the land anyway, but wait what if the king or emperor was realy put in charge by a omnipitent wrathful god, well you best get in line or go to hell!! its just a shame that we`re just as gulible today as we where 2000+ years ago!
