^^ That`s what I first thought too, but I think it`s just the camera angle. It looks like the shot bounced off the ground and hit the side of the bus. pretty sweet stuff.

That`s not a projectile, it`s the detonation cord. The explosives were always in the bus, it was supposed to simulate a suicide bomb.
