But would he force a child to be born with a disease that would cause them unimaginable pain and require expensive treatments that would ruin theirs and their parent`s lives for the few years that that they would be able to survive, or would he let a meth head have a child that would either have them for terrible parents or at the very least be born with brain damage before being sent off to live in foster homes the rest of it`s life.

Yes, I guess he would, seeing as he`s the one that created disease and allows people to destroy the lives of defenseless children, of course he hasn`t smoted any abortion doctors, maybe he is pro choice.

we`ll, I guess I sympathize. Everyone who has ever walked on our planet was in the womb at some time. I don`t like the thought that my friends, family, lovers, teachers could have been snuffed out without a chance.

With the laws that the government has put in place, Abortion makes no sense, You are allowed to drop a baby off in front of a hospital or other qualified medical facility within 4 days of giving birth. It makes no logical sense to kill a baby.

@napalm. Just because you can`t see logic in it doesn`t mean there is no logic. There`d have to several logical, sound reasons for it better made by those involved in the situation over those who like to sit back and judge.

*Edit* I forgot to address your use of the word baby. Technically it is not a baby until it is born. You are making the same mistake that the pro-"life" zealots make of tugging at the heart strings. The use of baby over embryo etc is an emotional misrepresentation.

Would Jesus Christ conceive a baby? Christ was a very pious, saintly person so mayhaps he wouldn`t. But abortion would likely have been preferred, since a child born into a family that couldn`t support it would simply starve. I`m not a history major, though. Maybe they were simply traded off, or sold, or abandoned, or eaten, or whatever.
