i believe they said they edit all the widely released photos, by adding all those colors and increasing the hue. i`d like to see the original pics too. all the formations they photograph though are still amazing

There isn`t an "original picture". They add color based on what the computer says is there. It isn`t an "optical" picture in other words.

^I think what he meant is he wants to know what the objects look like to the human eye instead of the false color images created used radio, infrared, and ultraviolet wavelengths.

@libertarianriots I think Jpeggtulsa is talking about how those are what they actually look like, Computer might not take those pictures exactly since it cant get all the colours, but it says exactly what colours go where. I might be completely wrong tho so dont hold me to my word

FYI

These pictures likely aren`t taken in the optical range (what the human eye can see). They`re probably taken in infrared and lower wavelengths. Anything higher (optical or ultraviolet) and everything is obscured by dust and shit. So basically the colors are added to make them look pretty.

wow, I saw the eye of sauron and a Stargate Supergate as used by the infamous Ori - geekness, or was it some creative chap fucking about with photoshop? Well, I would like to think its all out there, but then again, these images are made up pretty by changing invisible light to the naked eye into visible- these images do not actually look like this at all.
