District 9 Extended trailer - Alien Abus...

District 9 follows the segregation that takes place in Africa when a large UFO lands just above Earth and it's inhabitants are forced to live amongst humans. I'm assuming the cultural divide and fear between the two species is how the poor aliens get stuck in their own quarantined zones, but I guess we'll have to wait and see.

I happen to think Transformers was an excellent movie. District 9 looks great too, only its probably geared towards intellectuals and social reformists.

i don`t think this is the trailer, i thought this was the short film that the movie is based on, and the short has been out for several years now

I really like how the aliens were horrific looking, but when they`d talk to the camera they were civil. Very interesting looking.

I think its more of a general statement how we as humans don`t like people/things that are different from our standards. Not just specifically South African whites vs blacks. Definitely going to see this one.

I hear this movie is supposed to be a unofficial prequel to Halo and if it is commercially successful then Microsoft will reconsider funding the Halo movie itself. I might be wrong though, somebody feel free to correct me on this.

Also as previously stated, this video is actually titled "Alive in Joberg" and is the original short in which the feature length film is about.
