I don`t keep up with mainstream press, so I wasn`t aware of this sort of spin on the incident.

However, he`s looking to hard into the "week long" issue and that it means Obama and his administration were playing with the man`s life.

Actually, quite the opposite, it took a week because they were trying to save lives. Keep in mind the USA has the biggest military complex on the planet. But its size comes with just as much paperwork and signing.

This isn`t he movies. You don`t have the President get a call from some stereotypical general saying there`s a problem, and they need an "OK" to begin operations. That`s not how it works. There`s diplomatic issues to be dealt with particularly, and not just with the pirates. After any international red tape is pushed through, then you have to work on assigning RESOURCES.

Sorry, as big as the military is this isn`t GI-Joe. You don`t just whip out a piece of paper and write:

1 Air Plan
3 Ninja-Soldurs
3 Gunz
3 Fritos

PS: bulletz too

And BAM, you get it and mission accomplished. Sorry buddy, just because you have a deskjob at the local Mart doesn`t mean you`re qualified for international rescues.
