I want to get a Hi-Def TV just to watch this again on Blu-ray, but that seems like a waste of money considering I only get one channel on TV. This and `Planet Earth`.

I never had so much respect to all our war veterans until I`ve watched Band of Brothers. I just want to shake hands each one of them and say Thank you.

This reminds me of how my parents used to play Beethoven to help me fall asleep as a kid, including this piece. I even played it to myself later on whenever I had trouble sleeping.
After I saw that episode, though, this one doesn`t have the comforting effect on me anymore...

And I just realized that mentioning Beethoven and Hitler is kind of amusing - since a lot of people confuse the origin of those two - they think Hitler was German and Beethoven Austrian...

I think I`m gonna watch this series again this weekend. Loved it. Great upload, thanks!

The scene where the Americans first discover the camp chokes me up every time. It`s probably my favorite episode in the series, but lets be honest they`re all good.

I hear you. British, Russian, Canadian, and all of the Allied forces paid their toll 10 fold before the US were even concerned...

And now, they make films and mini series for money to fill their own pockets instead of helping those who fought these very battles.

Don`t get me wrong I like a good war flick as much as the next guy but you can`t say Americans do not over glorify their presence in either WW1 or 2 in media. You just can`t.
