I was not allowed on the internet when I was growing up, it was still dial up, and there wasn`t really a concept of parental control in the beginning.I always felt like I missed out.
I hate to say this but the person who sent the coercive messages is not to blame.Instilling self esteem is the most important thing you can do as a parent, and to be left alone to browse the internet and feed these impulses at such a young age without advice is careless.

Of course there is a sense of sympathy for this young boy, but there is also little remorse. Almost all kids learn to cope with these insults. Those who kill themselves are only ones who do not have the ability to successfully live in this society. My intentions are not to flame, but to show that these shows often make the kid a victim and blame society for being `too cruel`.
