Well, the figures are fudged according to arbitrary decency laws. I`ll bet that 63 doesn`t include those of us who went to jail for harmlessly distributing a little bit of child porn hither and thither.

Hmmmm... sorry, but I can`t quite agree with your premise there. I don`t know that it merits jail time, because I don`t think jail is solving the problem anyways. But spreading child porn around cannot be tolerated. Victim number one is the children, whos right to privacy is violated, because they cannot reasonably consent. I also think under 14 is a more reasonable age line to draw than under 18, if you want a realistic animal assessment of who is a child and who is not.

If you had said "harmlessly posessing child porn", I might agree that some people might look into the whole shitball to see what it`s about, and then walk away better informed, hopefully wiser. That is at least plausible. But NOT distributing. It just doesn`t fly.

There are sites that allows you to navigate through the government`s filter and keeping your IP anonymous.

Hidebehind was one but it`s now a porn site :P

Just google and you`ll find plenty.

BTW it`s best to search for illegal stuff in public areas like a restaurent`s wireless connection. Just a friendly tip.

(Oh yeah, Child porn uploading and downloading will be constantly monitered by high level hax like a network web tracker so expect to be prosecuted for it in the web or in life by gov and pirates alike.)

^^ Just make sure that your IP SUB mask as well as the browser block the sending of any information that may ID you. Also, if you connect to this wireless connection and do something highly-illegal never find yourself on a hard-line w/ that same computer.

^Actually Canada is already starting to censor a few stuff like TPB`s torrent list but it`s far from being perfected. But we`ll see more troublesome censorship in the near future, unfortunately :(

I should know since I caught them in the act but blocked their unwanted censoring with peerguardian.
